When we talk about iconic sneakers, the first think that comes in mind is shoes like Adidas Superstar, Converse Chuck Taylor, Nike Air Max and the ever recognizable Air jordan. These Shoes are considered until now as a cult.

Let's first break down what does that really mean by Sneakers Iconic? Sneakers Iconic are footwear items, that stand the test of the time. They are shoes that reinvent themselves over time and over the generations. However, in the HIGH
END segment, why haven't we got an icon, despite the potential of these luxury brands?

The first reason could be the fact, that luxury fashion is an industry that changes quite rapidly, and designers try to make products that can be sold as quickly as possible.

Secondly, we can mentioned the proactiveness of these luxury brands. That is to say they are constantly looking for how to create new products which can create trends. They are actually anticipating what is going happen in the industry. Unfortunately, a trend isn't something that lasts long.

Nevertheless, some brands like Balenciaga have the potential to develop a sneakers cult. Through this approach, the brand has been able to create the triple S and the Speed 2.0. The question remains if these sneakers can stand the test oft he time?
